There are some basic guidelines that have been established to ensure that not only your membership meets all your needs, but that we all keep shared goals and visions consistant.
The Novus Orsa Introduction briefly discussed our goals and vision, however the kin leadership would like to address a couple specific questions that are typically asked:
1. Once you join the kinship how long does it take to achieve kinsmen/kinswomen status?
Good question...First, we want everyone to know that we take membership very seriously, and the status of kinsmen/kinswomen is not given lightly. Second, you must demonstrate an eagerness/willingness to participate with kin activities and maintain a level of maturity that fosters positive game play. Finally, to be able to observe such attributes in a new recruite will not happen overnight...3 weeks is the typical probation period; not only to see if you are a good fit with our kin, but more importantly that you find that this kin is a good fit for you! YEAH!
2. If I am interested in taken more of a leadership role within the kin, what would I need to do?
Again, another great question...Obtain kinsmen/kinswomen status (average 3 weeks), demonstrate on a consistant bases your enthusiasum for the game, and a willingness to help others in the developement of their characters. Always maintain a positive attitude and be a solution finder/problem solver. IMPORTANT - Keep current officers abreast of any kinship issues that may arise, and make known your desire to lead raids/instances. When opportunities present themselves, take advantage to demonstrate your abilities to be a leader!
Finally , the kin leadership always reserves the right to deny membership and/or demote-expel members that do not hold themselves to common standards of ethical play.
